Enemy(in-a-me)

Poetry By: Romano
Other

Too many times we hinder ourselves and get in our own way, our greatest enemy is our inner self

Deep inside lurks a stalker

Jealous, envious demonic walker

Greed with hate to boil

Waits and preys for anything to unfoil

Walk and talks as like a minister

Mind unraveling with eyes as a sinister

Spirit bound in captivity

Flesh on a rampage in annuity

Mixed and dazed thoughts

Heart wrench from blood brought

Creeping steps as in a horror flick

Stomach ailing cause body sick

From one to seven now a legion

Many plagues from every region

Back biting tongue slit

As tales within you spit

Your worst enemy is your only friend

And this you fail to comprehend

It's now time for flesh to flee

Mirror looks display your in-a-me
