When somebody you love
Looks at you
You smile
When somebody you hate
Looks at you
You frown.
You are opening yourself
Your emotions plain
To see for the public to browse
At their hearts content
But to your heat's dismissal.
But wait, stop, chat.
Don't dismiss it,
Don't show it.
Smile.
When somebody you love
Looks at you
Smile, say hi, chat.
When somebody you hate
Looks at you
Just smile.
It will annoy them more
Than if you ignore them.
