Precious little one

So much promise held in that tiny bud of your hand

Endless potential so much more than mine

But this world was far too cruel for such a delicate flower

So God took you into his Eden

And there you bloom more beautiful than we could ever be

Although I am sad that we can never be together

I have known you

In that instant

When I held you in my arms

 I saw heaven in your perfection

As you appeared merely to slumber

You were one among millions

A tiny star among the thousands of sparkling jewels in the sky

But you shined the brightest

The world may forget you

But we shall always remember

The beautiful baby angel

Who is forever in our hearts

And emblazoned in minds

Forever...
