Poetry By: SavvyApple

Poem done in spare time (also known as procrastinating homework), about the beauties of a flame. Enjoy!

It flickers

the flame,

as it dances around

the cotton wick.

It burns,

but it's beautiful.

It melts,

but it's beautiful.

The warmth

is much needed

as it dances,

twrils,

screams

for its heat.

It's the heart.

it's the life,

it burns

and detroys

but it helps

and heals.

It might be uncontrollable

It might be ferocious

if left alone,

but kept under control,

it merely dances,

flickers,

warms,

heals,

as we watch

in fascination

as the flame

is so beautiful.

"It represents

hurt"

"It represents

heal"

Not in my book

no,

not at all,

the beauty,

the characteristics,

of this wonderful

warm

and loving flame...

It represents you

for the flame is beautiful -

just like you -

in its own

special

way.
