Entry 2:Poem: picture6
My mother always told me be careful around boy
My father always said if he hurts you I will mess him up
Threw my actions my mom knew
She knew my pain
She knew my feelings
She knew I was in love
I can’t say he really hurt me
We never really went out
He was a dream that I wanted to come true
Every night the scene played
It was as if on repeat
The sand between our feet
Water rushing up
Hands interlocking
Me clumsily falling to one side
I could see hills in the distance
Or maybe islands it’s hard to say
In my dreams I loved him and he loved me
I was in a perfect fantasy
And then it happened
As if by magic
I got my dream in real life
Maybe not the same location but it was still worth it
It was also as friends that we came
But when we got home the relationship changed
All thanks to that one spot on the beach
