You’d think she has the perfect life
Always happy, pretty, never dealing with strife
But then her best friend died
And all you thought of her became a lie
The next day she walks into school
Snuffing apologies, her temperament cool
But inside she’s weeping
Her sorrow deepening
On the outside, she looks well
But that’s just a hollow shell
A bag of flesh she uses
Only a thing she abuses
No one ever finds the cuts
The burns and abrasions from cigarette butts
But the pain, it’s still there
Hidden with the truth of how she fares
As she takes that fucking blade
And ends her life in the shade-
