How I learnt what I know
Family taught me religion
All their socialisations
Adhering to special days
Birth, mother, father
Christmas
(when you have to buy presents)
Family taught me religion
Dressing appropriately
Speaking appropriately
Keeping up appearances
Always in control, adhering to duty
At the earliest convenience
Family taught me religion
To do the expected ritual
To shake hands on introduction
Shhhhhh, silence the soul
For any misbehaviour
There shall be punishment
My God, My Father, My Creator
Taught me unconditional love
Faith
Hope
Love
Grace
