Bloody Lies

Poetry By: Shea Ryhai
Other

On quizilla and many other poetry sties the most popular topic besides love is Suicide. Unfortunately most of them are just fantasies written by those who wouldn't come close to taking their life. There is a difference between claiming you cut, cutting, and actually wanting desperately to die. Most suicide poems are written by those who just want the glory, the darkness, and of course the attention.

It is because of their Bloody Lies that the real people who are on the edge of committing suicide can't be taken seriously. People just assume that like all the other 'suicide lies' out there, this person isn't telling the truth either.

Only to late do many realize when that persons death speaks louder then the denial and lies of others ever could, that this time it was the truth.

Always to late.

So please, out of respect for the dead. Stop the Lies.

Sincerely,

SheaRyhai

Could you hear?
When she screamed that frantic cry.
Did you care?
That she wanted to die.
Did you feel,
for a moment,
her goodbye?

Did you know?
The darkest of her fears.
Can you taste?
All her over running tears.
Could you think,
for an instant,
this could be real?

It's just a tragic line,
another cryptic rhyme.
She's just wasting your time.
She'll be fine.
She'll be fine.

Did it hurt?
When you found that bloody mess.
Were you afraid?
When all the truth was addressed.
Did you remember,
every time,
her words confessed.

It must feel good.
To see her pain from such heights.
You must be proud.
That you haven't known that strife.
Don't be so sure,
any moment
this could be your life.

It's just a bunch of lies,
A thousand bleeding cries.
The world tore out your eyes.
This is goodbye.
This is goodbye.

Another line, to assure you I'm still here.
Another rhyme, will persist despite the tears.
Anther time, a second glance, things become clear.
