Sadness clouds my eyes, It usually starts with a lie, It makes me want to die, But someone comes to help pass the time.

When they leave, I go back to the grief, I stare at a floating leaf, Then I start to think.

People enjoy bringing me down but I look around, As I fall to the ground, I die with no sound.

thank you.

Shelby, Well written, and very expressive. When I read this poem I felt the sadness of your soul, and the heart of me wanted so badly to hug you.

I'm sending lots of hugs your way and I hope and pray you accept them.
