See my heart it freezes
With every word you say
Its turned into stone
I try to fight these feelings
Have them not show
But I wear my heart on my sleeve
For all to see
See I'm an open book
And you take what you need
But what happens now
You've taken everything
Now I am left empty
These pages are being refilled
By my heavy hearts words
Honestly I cared too much for you
Honestly I fell for you
I started to do
What I promised myself
I wouldn't do
Not after the last time
I got caught up in your eyes
Drawn in by the sound of your voice
Lead on by your smile
I thought I found God, true love,
Inbetween the lines of your words
I started to do it again
Fall in love
Think that you were different
But I was wrong
You aren't any different
You said all the same things
Just in a different manner
See my heart it freezes
And I start to feel numb again
But there's still that ever familiar
Pinch in my chest
