As One

A lonesome wanderer was i

Before he crossed my path one day

Two halves of a whole were we

Two strangers who met by destiny

Everything in the world made sense

All trees looked greener

The rain more bountiful

When we shared our iman

And we shared our brains and minds

My knowledge grew

My happiness blossomed

Fresh earth opened up

To welcome

Nothing was a blur no more

Nothing was I unsure about

Any question was answered

Even before leaving my lips

Any wish was fulfilled

Before wishing it

I always saw the stars in the sky

He taught me why they were high

Even as strangers the world could see

That we were meant to be

Living the world

As one

Person of my dreams

Come to me
