I thought of you Everyday
Everyday I thought of you
Your smile, your words, your voice
The voice I haven’t heard for so long
The words I never got from you.
Even memories are not there anymore
how do I know I love you?
I try to think of you again
And again and again and again
But you make my heart ache
You made it try too hard
Try so hard, to love you
What is love anyway?
I try to see the future
But you’re not even at my present
You haven’t left me
But you’re not with me
You have me over the cliff,
Not letting go or holding on tight
You won’t let me fall
But you won’t hold me either
I’m dangling on life’s edge
How can I bang on your door?
And make you talk
When you speak through those bars
Behind locks and chains
With silent words
And speechless quotes
How do I know you love me?
You messengers speak of your love for me
You live and die for me
If it was true, would you be doing this at all?
You are clever to pronounce your love
To advertise it as so,
So when it falls off
When it’s gone
You wouldn’t be to blame
I don’t know if this time was wasted
Or time spent well
But my start was you
And my end is you
No matter what
If you will come,
Please.
