The train
I sit and hope
That this journey doesn’t end
I can’t imagine or pretend
that it won’t end
Out the window i can see
The station arriving,
running closer towards me
The destination is the place
i will be forever after
Even though the destination is so near
It has been anticipated with fear
My dreamland is here
What i hoped for all my life
What i worked for all the time
What i lived and took breaths for everyday
The reason i never strayed away
What i wanted in optimistic eyes
But I would rather stay on this train
The dreamland will always be there
Waiting for me to accept it
To Pull it out of my dreams
To rest it in reality
No It could wait another season
Another reason
i would journey to it forever
And ever
If the journey was forever
The journey was the best part
All the scenes, all the art
Oh my heart, my heart my, my heart
The time has come
The time to depart, Depart and begin
Another journey afresh, new train, new lane
New pain, new gain
This loss is forever
Not forever eternal
