Desperate whispers, soft cries fill they remaining silence,

It echoes hollowly as I rise to the surface with a pained gasp,

Under the dark currents of despair,

I fall to rise,

And rise to fall,

Back again…

Under desperate cries, and soft whispers,

I wait to be judged by those with cold eyes,

And refuse sympathy from those weak of heart.

Under the dark currents of despair,

I fall to rise,

And rise to fall,

Back again…

Above desperate eyes, and soft hearts,

I look away and test my wings to fall again,

Losing my innocence along the way to the abode of the forsaken,

Under the dark currents of despair,

I fall to rise,

And rise to fall,

Back again….

Causing the desperate pleads, and the hungry embrace,

I feel helpless as I scramble to take what's mine before it's gone,

Sucking the souls of the living to survive,

Under the dark currents of despair,

I fall to rise,

And rise to fall,

Back again…
