Loved them, you’d told them,
Cared for them, you’d told them,
Understood them, you’d told them,
Never would leave them, you’d told them.
But what had you done in the end?
Mentally tortured them until they’d hated you,
Broke your promises until they’d mistrusted you,
Fought with them until they’d answered back to you,
Abused their mother until they stopped you.
In the end your children had lost all respect for you,
And what you had received?
Nothing.
But the worst part was that you knew it,
And you refused to admit to your faults...
