Valentine's Day, oh Valentine's Day
If it was possible, I'd get my way
Of taking the chocolate
Of receiving the cards
(But sadly, I cannot, for things will get overwhelming)
So I'll stop with the ranting, to avoid you from gasping
And cut to the chase, to tell you that:
Valentine's Day is a day full of CHEER!
So smile my friends, for this holiday comes once a year!
A season to call your dear, a 'dear'!
A season to watch as 'threatening' cupids appear!
Of white doves, and pink frills!
Of hearts, and of thrills!
Oh Valentine's Day, oh Valentine's Day
If it were possible, I'd get my way!
So come one and come all folks!
For Valentine's has arrived!
It knocks on your front doors,
As early as an be
(On February the 14)
So greet it with smiles, or it'll give you a fee!
But if you feel under the weather
And wish for this day to end
Well, what am I? Chopped liver?
Come to me, your friend!
A/N: *Cough cough* Don't ask, this poem may sound a tad bit weird... Or all the way weird.... But this is my first attempt at poetry! (Last time I wrote a poem was like atleast twenty thousand years ago, so the memory is quite hazy.)
And some of the lines I don't get either. Which is quite unbelieveable, seeing as I'M the writer of this...
