A word. That was all that was needed for the world to end. Not even a word, but a thought. A thought in the mind of the One who created it. One thought, and the earth simply went out like candle, with only a slight noise as it disappeared. One thought, and all the humans, with all their petty problems, were gone. One thought, and the great structure built to withstand centuries of torment were gone. One thought, and the hopes and dreams of billions were gone. On thought, and every one of the rivers and oceans and islands that the humans had so meticulously mapped were gone. One thought, and several millennium's worth of knowledge was gone. One thought, one thought as the One who made the earth grew bored with it, and the earth was gone.
