Once upon a time, there was… something, something unmentionable, denied and forsaken. It was hidden far away, buried beneath the bittersweet agony of common sense. No one dared touch it, or speak of it. Human where to fragile, they said, so if it was moved only an inch, it would spread like fire in dry grass.

However, there was one who was not afraid of the thing. She opened her mind for it, and let it grow in her body like a fetus. It spread to all the corners of her mind, heart and soul. It filled all her limbs. It could make her cry, laugh and scream. And even make her shiver of the beauty of it, or the scary pictures that filled her eyes. It opened up places, and even worlds she did not know existed.

She could bear it no longer, she had to share it. So she started sharing it with the people around her. And soon it spread. It crossed landmarks with no permission what so ever and it stretched to all the little corners of the world. There was nothing to stop it, once out in the open.

But then! Life itself occurred, and silenced the thing, at least for a while. The thing they later named Imagination!
