In darkest night in lightest day, no evil shall escape my sight for this is my might. I will fight until I can’t fight no more, until I die with a seconds notice. When my legs give out I will plead with them to stand tall like the big oak tree and then I will stand and when my arms give out I will plead with them to keep working. “Don’t give out on me now there’s still too much to do,” and then they become strong again like a giant grizzly and when my heart gives out I plead with it to have faith. I remind my heart that it has an angel waiting for it at home and my heart starts to pump faster and comes alive because it knows its other half is longing for its return. Now with the spirit of a lion the fight shall carry on and I know this isn’t the last time I will be called to duty and the lion inside me will stay in wait until I need its help again forever shall it be. And as my footprints fade away in the sands of time I shall fear no evil, even when time erases my name from my tomb stone and then I will be in the hands of the lord to watch over me and do as he pleases and a shepherd I shall be for thee my lord for thee.
