It was a night I couldn’t forget, a night that would torture my memories. It was the year 2007 when I died. I can still remember everything about it. Seeing it right before my eyes. But it was that night I was reborn.
I was sitting in my bedroom on the soft old bed that my mother had given me before she passed. Everything was normal, perfect in it own way. Nothing was out of place. It was about six o clock when he came. He had brought some of the finest wine in town, I could still remember the taste. It had a strong taste, for it was very old. It would burn as it passes through your throat. He was so nice one of the kindest men I had ever met and the sparkle in his eye as if he were hiding a secret. His name was Joshua Locordy and I was dumb enough to trust him. As I was saying we were having dinner at my place and he started to be touchy, he was grabbing and pulling me closer to him. I wasn't ready for this yet. We started to get into a fight, we started  yelling and screaming as load as our body would let us, and then physical. Pushing, shoving, kicking, punching and running. I had nothing else to do I was defenseless weak the pain rushing through my body faster then I could ever imagine. Then felt a slight sharp object push into my lower back. I screamed. I couldn’t help it.
“Help me, someone please help me.” I screamed. No one could here me.
There I laid starring at him my eyes connecting with his. I could have swore he saw right then and there that I was suffering. But he left.

I think I was there for a while laying there on the floor, blood spreading every direction. But that’s when I heard a car pull into the drive way and the door closing shut.
It was the milk man there to deliver the three bottles of milk that he always drops off at exactly seven thirty. The front door was wide open and I turned my aching body around as much as I could to see him looking at me his mouth wide open. He quickly reached into his pocket for is cell phone and dialed for 911. Once he had finished his call he ran over to me and slowly lifted me up so I could sit. The milk man examined the stab mark, it was just about three inches from the spine, any closer it could have paralyzed me.
Soon later an ambulance and police car arrived. There were three men with a stretcher that were rushing towards me. They picked me up and placed me right in the middle of the stretcher and quickly pushed me to the ambulance. In that amount of time for a split second everything was nothing.
I was dying for I had lost so much blood I was dizzy slowly falling away from life. I died for five minutes that night. I was lucky enough to be in the safe hands of doctors, or else I would be buried seven feet under ground with five feet of dirt piled on top of me losing air supply and caving in my coffin.
That was the night I lived
