Ever wished you could go back in time, fix your mistakes? Ever wanted to go forward, see the future version of you?

This is the story of a girl who always wished she could travel through time.

"Time travel is impossible sweetie." That's what everyone used to tell my - my mom, dad, Uncle Philip, Aunt Janine, even my younger cousins. Even though it didn't seem logical - or possible for that matter - I was convinced that I could find a way to turn back the clock...or turn it forward. I was only six years old at back then - it was the age when Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, and just about everything else seemed believable.

Whenever people would ask me why I wanted to travel through time - which they did, all the time - I'd respond without a definitive answer.

"I have my reasons," I'd say, smiling, with that little hint of mystery in my voice.

"And what reasons are those?" Mom would ask gently, wanting to know, yet clearly not wanting to burst my bubble of innocence. She'd bend down with her hands on her knees, looking sweetly into my eyes.

"Reasons I'm not going to tell," I'd respond with a defiant grin, never letting Mom, or anyone else, in on my secret desires.
