Twiddling his thumbs impatiently, Oliver leaned against the wall outside of the principal's office. He jumped as the door swung noisily open and a woman's voice told him to take a seat. "Yes, Ma'am." Oliver mumbled as he took a seat on the plush leather couch. He sighed and thought to himself "Why does this always take so long? I wait outside the secretary's office. Then I wait in the secretary's office! All I do is wait." He nodded, agreeing with himself. He sighed again and examined the room. "White walls, white floors and white furniture" It was almost as if he had just stepped into a prison or even a psych ward. Oliver shook his head, trying to deny himself of his absurd thoughts. "Let him in" a low, raspy voice came from the intercom.

"You may see the principal now, Oliver" the secretary said apathetically. He shuffled his feet as he made his way to the principal's door. He reached for the cold doorknob but it wasn't there. "Huh?" he muttered, genuinely confused. The door swung open automatically and Oliver tumbled into the small office. "This doesn't look familiar!" He thought to himself. Oliver had been to the principal's office numerous times before; enough times to even find his way through it in his sleep. "Sit" a distant voice came. A massive desk sat in one corner of the room, but almost reached the other wall. He took a seat in the small, rickety chair that was dwarfed by the leather, swivel chair that the principal sat in. "Y-y-you called m-me?" Oliver stammered.

"I did" came the same, distant voice. Oliver looked around the room, frightened. He licked his lips and looked down at his fingernails. The large, leather chair began to swivel round, exposing the figure that sat in it. Oliver screamed as he came face to face with a…
