Constant Warmth
“ My name is Comfort, so I am going to make everybody comfortable.” She declares proudly.
“Well, my name is Loli, so I am going to make everybody’s life a misery,” I replied sarcastically, “haha.”
She had a bright hope too, to make new friends, and to do what her name is, to comfort others.
At first, I do not understand her idea, I had thought, she was definitely going to fail.
I had never deeply believed in friends, from the day I went to school, had always thought they would barely come and pass. Neither did I think she or anyone else would stay as a memory.
Nevertheless, on sports day in year 8, the weather was freezing cold, I merely had the uniform on, so she kindly shared her coat. I was too dumbed by the frost to think, simply thanked. However, when I arrived home, my mum was astonished to hear this news, “Comfort seems really nice.” She exclaimed, though I only thought ‘that’s what good friends do. No big deal.’ Then I was surprised at the idea; gradually, I had listed her as my close friend; probably I was still dumbed by the cold, or Comfort’s warmth had touched me.
