Saturday's ego
"Flora," I shouted. Angel was my best friend. She was in a crowd and wearing her sunglasses. He golden hair shimmered in the light. She just walked off. "Flora!" I then shouted then Derma came to me.
"There's no use. You know what she's like. When she was nothing she was our friends and now she's some kind of superstar she will blank us. Like were nobody."
The word she had said hurt me but I couldn't disagree because I knew she was right. Flora was my best friend from since as long as I can remember infact I think we were practically born at the same time. We. Flora, Sunnie, Tina and me formed a band. We were the best of the best. Flora had real talent though. She wanted to use her talent as a career. So did the rest of us but we were not as eager as her. The thing was she was very shy and we were like her confident builders. So any way we all agreed that we would support her and then she got a gig... but all by herself and it was on TV. She sang and then now she is recognised by all these record dealers and she has an interview and get what she forgets to do? She doesn't mention us. She says that she is solo and that she had no help and she was naturally confident! What a cheat. Then Sunnie goes to her and shouts at he. How dear she does such a thing and that she needs to have a sit down with her ego. Now she's blanking us.
Today after school I got to her and she listen,
"So now you want to pretend you're some superstar? And you're going to cancel out what got you this far? Girl you need a sit down with your ego. So you're saying you're done as far as we go and now your some moist famous person. What happened to you? You're morals and when everyone had gone away I was still there to look after you. And when it's time for you to come back to earth please let me know."
Flora- Saturday's up
There Anna was shouting in my face about morals and she was right. I had let myself go. That wasn't my fault though.
"Look don't lecture me. I am my own person. I only did what I thought was right. Wouldn't you have done it if you had the opportunity? So what if I want to go up. It proves that you are to slow to catch up. Where I am is the finest selection and I am sorry if my words hurt you. That's just how it is. This is the crossing at the main intersection, Up is where we go from here, Finest selection, this could take us anywhere, I don't want protection, Life is better off the line".
I sang to get my point across.
"Sorry just can't turn back. This is what I want. I don't me that I don't want to be your friends but this is the cost of stardom."
