She was lonely. She had no one at school that she could talk to, and her parents were never home to listen, so she always went to her bedroom whenever she was feeling sad, which seemed like all the time. She would confide in her only true friend; the razor that lived under her mattress. She had to hide it becuase her parents wouldn't understand, and they'd just take it away. While she was with the razor, her pain would subside and she would feel better. She always missed it when they were apart. It seemed like the only thing that cared for her was the razor. But, the truth was that she was just hurting herself more and more, collecting pain and sorrow. She could have, and should have, told someone, but she didn't. and that was the problem. Now, she isn't here to talk about it, because her razor was a bad influence. All the razor did was get her hooked on worse things, then stopped helping when the going got tough. And it got tough.

Teens everywhere are depressed. Many of them cut and/or commit suicide. Maybe things would be better for them if they had someone to talk to. That's where you come in. You could be the difference that saves a life. Don't avoid depressed people-talk to them. Help them. Save them.
