Gratitude of a friend

I really can't believe how we're still friends until now

How we stuck together, I really don't know how

So now, I can see how you're such a great person to me

You're an unforgettable person, that's who you'll be

It seemed like years ago when I first met you there

Sitting quietly on that bus, seemed like you didn't care

That I was new to the new atmosphere around the place

Surprisingly, I didn't expect I would become friends with this face

Then came another time we kept playing around

My past childhood memories, lost then found

All those laughs we shared and the memories made

I really hope those things will never fade

Finally finished the stage of becoming a child

Coming to another stage of possibly becoming wild

Days and months with no communication between us two

Busy with our own lives, so many things we're going thru

Then came a time where we kept arguing so much

Debating on who was to blame and other things as such

Eyes filled with tears and anger in our tongues

Looking for a way to get something out of our lungs

Then came the time where our paths had crossed

Right then and there I knew friendship would never be lost

We started to talk and laugh about things we had missed

Something that brought be to a perfect bliss

So, my friend, I will never forget what you have done

All the memories and fights, both had been fun

You were a part of my whole person and who I am

Finding a friend like you is like finding a valuable gem
