Nick used to “have it all”. The money, he gambled away. The girl, that ran away with the money. Oh, and lets not forget the talent of scamming people to get anything he wanted.
*After it Was All Gone*
I walked to my usual casino then, before I could even sit at a table with my card up my sleeve, I sighed.
“What are you doing here Nick?” I asked myself. I turned towards the exit, shoulders slumped, depressed, and more lonely than I had ever been in my entire life. That was when I saw the most beautiful woman that I had ever laid eyes on.
I stated to walk towards her and noticed she was trembling. She was dressed kind of strange to be outside at this time with the sea breeze. The woman got startled and dropped her phone when I said hello.
“I’m sorry,” I said then handed it to her. She smiled and nodded.
“So what are you looking for?” She finally said. Then I put it all together, and I was speechless and began to studder things I couldn’t even understand. A man came up to us and gave her the death stare. The smile quickly disappeared and she looked like she might cry... She was panicing.
“She’s good one,” He said.
“How much for a night? How about five-hundred? Ill give half now half later.” I winked at her, and the man nodded. I shook his hand an took her to my car. She followed almost crying.
“Don’t cry,” I began. “Just wait until we get to the car.” Her hands were trembling as she reached to open the car door.
“Don’t make me, I’m pregnant.” She said softly not looking at me once we were both sitting in the car.
“I’m not, relax. I just thought that you needed to chill out a little. We are just going to talk, nothing else… promise.” I smiled at her. “You can still get out of the car if you want.” She buckled her seatbelt.
