A child knows actually what is happening to her mother she feels it to but her mother does not have the will to stop it

Is it dark yet ?

Mother I'm afraid

Night has held me down

To reap me

Of my own sins

Mother I am afraid

The strange man is hurting

Bottles against my head

That's just a dream

My honey

Dream of sweet things

I smell the salt

Sickly sweet

Blood dripping

Feel the pain

Mother I'm afraid

It's just a dream

Let the sand man

Sprinkle you to sleep

My honey

Coated baby girl

Go to sleep

I hear the yells

My own or your's

I can not tell

The strange man

In black nightmares

Is here again

In my room

Or is it your's

I can not tell

In nights murky beer shadows

He is hurting

Shall I scream

Though he swears

Through a vile fuzzy tongue

I must not

Mother I'm afraid

It's just a dream

Close your eyes

Shut out all nights

My little honey bear

Go to sleep

This is not happening to me

It's just a dream

Is it night yet ?

Time to close my ears

Be a living deaf rat

Nothing is happening to me

Or mother

Who I feel

Always beside

Go to sleep

Dream it will

For yellow drowns my will power

To stop this

Stranger entering

Our den
