Hello people my name is Isabelle. I am a 8th grader and a poetic person. I have had two poems published. One when I was 8 and one now as 13. Being a person who writes poetry isent always easy. Writing your feelings out into a poem can make the feelings so strong and sometimes people don't get why you write what you write or they don't understand what it means. Soemtimes our heart crys out and we write how we feel but we poets must always remember even if people don't understand what you mean you always will. Some people just don't understand the pain and feelings pther people feel. For now poetry is a example of a way we can be poetic and still write out the relaity of life.

Yes, I agree with your opinion on this matter, and that is what makes at an art form, poetry that is as what the artist creates may mean something different to others than to the artist, so it is left open to interpretation.

I agree. I once tried poetry, I had my friends read it first to tell me if it was good and none of them got it. After that I haven't done poetry since(exceptions for school assignments).Poeple who don't get poetry can not only be annoying but discouraging to some. With so many people unaware of poetry's deep meaning, is writing something worth it if no one will read it?
