A short poem about being singled out in a crowd.

I'm alone in a crowd

I'm blind to what I'm seeing

I'm deaf to what I'm hearing

So am I really here?

I don't understand what I'm saying

I don't practice what I'm teaching

I don't believe in what I'm preaching

So am I really here?

I blend in with the shadows

I camoflauge my words

I hide from reality

So am I really here?

I can't have what I'm watching

I don't want what I'm needing

I feel suffocated by everything

So why should I be here?

Life is just too hard

Breathing is too much work

Living is just unbearable

I can't wait until I'm no longer here
