Thank you for stopping by.
Now that you're here, check out my competition.
I want your Acrostic poetry.
Not just Acrostic, but Shadow Acrostic as well. Not just Shadow Acrostic, but rhyming Acrostic too.
Here's how it will go...
Write an Acrostic
Write a Shadow Acrostic
Write a Rhyming Acrostic
Write a Shadow Rhyming Acrostic
Leave a comment below telling me which Acrostic you'll be writing.
You must use my word list. That's part of the competition.
There will be three winners, First, Second, and Third Place Winners.
First Place- Will become a fan and read/comment on 5 works.
Second Place- Will become a fan and read/comment on 3 works.
Third Place- Become a fan, and read/comment on 1 works.
The first place winners poem will be pasted on my page for the month of July through August.
I love Acrostic poetry. It just seems to have more meaning than any other style of poetry. If you're not familar with Acrostic, I'll give you an example.
Please enter and give me some beautiful Acrostics. Shadow acrostics are a plus.
Here is the word list-
Fourth Of July
These are your choices. Writing an Acrostic is harder than it looks so choose wisely.
EXAMPLE: Shadow Acrostic( Mirrored Acrostic)
Time- Notice that the first letter of the first word is also the last letter of the last word. That is called Shadow acrostic or mirrored.
Time is but a momenT
In which is given I
Moments unselfishly given froM
Everlasting God abovE
Good luck to all!
If you have any questions about an Acrostic, please feel free to ask in your comment.
Tell me which word you;ll be using.
Deadline to join is July 15th. Judging will begin July 20th.
