the veteran republics, they say that war is fun
they sit there high and mighty, using people as there gun,
they send them into battle, they don't have any right,
forcing them to lose their lives, forcing them to fight
you win a battle, two or three, with pride our hearts are filled
how can you say you've won the war, when half our men were killed
they drop there bombs, they send there troops, it's all been done before
its your own men your destroying, thats the reality of war
i'm for the anti-war, i got a right to choose
i'm for the anti-war, don't wanna fight and lose
i spy the innocent dying, i'm for the anti-death
i spy a young boy crying, daddy, daddy was a vet
