The Lack of....

By: Kred35
Poetry

I haven't been on booksie much lately and my apologies. But I'm back :)....
Alot of challenges been going on in my life in which has kept me from writing or basically, I just didn't feel like it. It meant digging into deep thoughts in which I didn't want to do, because it would hurt too much. But thankfully, I'm doing fine. MY faith has kept me strong. I have received a miracle after miracle in my life these past few weeks. I didn't realize that my God was still in the miracle business....LOL! I've been blessed many times over and I am so humbly gracious for his Love. Thanks for letting me share with you my feelings. View table of contents...

Faith,
the lack of...
Strenght,
the lack of...
Endurance,
the lack of...
Passion,
the lack of...
I am a survivor!
I claimed my Faith.
I claimed my Strength.
I claimed my Endurance.
I claimed my Passion.
The prayers answered were Miracles.
Faith was Strengthened.
Strength given for Endurance.
Endurance to give humbly, more Passion.
Love was Received and Given.
Joy is Present.

A lovely write, K. I think all of "us writers" are survivors of some sort. And without faith... there ain't much to look forward to in my opinion!!!
And yes... miracles do still happen every day.

Hope you find time to read my new short story, "Leaving Hudson". It is a nostalgic little piece that may bring a warm smile to your face as you reminisce those days of old.

Have a happy and glorious day.....Jerry (^_^)

Thank you REgan. Sorry it's been awhile and I havent responded until now. Hope all is well, and hope to see ya around.

I think prayers are always answered, some times the answer is yes and sometimes the answer is no. I need serenity, courage and wisdom to make heads or tails of them sometimes though. Nice job. Hope all is well, Ted :)

Thank you Pratibha. Thanks for the smile you gave me.

Your gratitude strengthens faith, at least for me. A really powerful piece and in tune with my feelings today.
