Sudden inspiration from starring out a window a late summer night... Hope you can imagine the scene I try to describe here. Please tell me your views. All feedback is highly appriacted!

As daylight fades, and all God's creatures, great and small, rest safe and sound, a monotonous evening symphony begins.
The melancholic tune arises, filling the mild air, before the high-flying ballet-dancers make their entry.
Black and swift they soar, tumbling in loops and sharp turns, across the ever darkening stage.
