-the Midnight Poet-

Novel By: Itsuwari
Poetry

Not really a 'novel' but I'm calling it that anyway. It's more of a very long, very sad, very true series of poems. I'll be posting the rest of the chapters over the next couple weeks or so. Hope you enjoy. View table of contents...

"Release your heart, in written word."
A silent voice does call to her
"your dreams your love your darker side
How much longer shall you hide?"
"Reveal your self to all those here
Show compassion to those who care"

Her intrigue caught by his soft words
His voice the chirping of one thousand birds
A beautiful mystical wonderful sound
Entrancing elegant and lustrously profound

"Will you come with me, oh great poet of night
Take my hand and join me in flight."
He smiles at her, hand out reached
She never hesitates a decision easily reached

But she opens her eyes with great dismay
Naked on her bed she lays
Was it just a dream? a lucid fable?
But how easily she would succumb
To the voice of ‘that Angel’.
