Through the Sun and the Snow
The air grows warm and I feel the sun on my back.
Trees are growing their leaves and the grass is turning green.
Birds are singing and children are cheering happy that spring is here.
I walk outside, the heat is unbearable, and it's only the first week of June.
All the animals are back, and refuilding their homes.
Flowers are growing and bursting with colors.
Fireworks go off and they sound like a song that I once knew.
I look around, everything is different, and the world is growing cold.
The leaves are bright gold and red, and are scattered on the ground.
The air is now crisp and there always seems to be a slight breeze.
Six sided crystals fall from the sky.
I look and see the world is bright white.
The sun is gone, and the world is filled with a never ending cold.
