Connections in Unknown Ways and Places

Novel By: Maddie Carr
Poetry

The basic thing that makes humans... well human is how we communicate. Through communication we gain new ways to connect to people. Today there are so many ways to communicate that we forget how to connect. We forget that people on a basic level are all the same, no matter their skin color, their religion, or race. Two stories of two teenagers, completely different on the surface. Soon you'll learn that we are all the same, just with surface differences. My first published novel!!! :) View table of contents...

Everyone in their core,

way deep inside

is the same.

No matter

your skin,

your voice,

your beliefs.

Fundamentally we are the same.

We all get scared.

We all laugh.

We all cry.

No matter

your house,

your religion,

your hair.

Fundamentally we are the same.

We all love.

We all hate.

We all wish for better tomorrows.

We live in different worlds.

Some privileged,

some barely getting by.

But still,

we, are all the same.
