I open the door
Stepping inside the dark room
Dropping my bags and parchments
The day passing sluggishly
Never wanting to end.
My body struggled against me
As I feel through the darkness
Into resting arms
Of the lovliest figure.
I say figure
For I saw no face
Only an empty smile
And the waves of black silk
That rested atop the head of
This precious specimen.
She held onto me
Carrying me through the darkness
And into the light.
Candle light to be precise
Her black gown hugging her body
As I wished to do to her.
She sat me down
And went to the other side
Of the table that appeared suddenly.
And just suddenly as it appeared
It began to grow in length
Putting a distance between us.
I struggled to free myself
But alas,
I was teathered down
In this chair.
She disappeared with the gown
Enveloping her and the candle light
Surrounding me in darkness
Having me jump awake.
The sweat was starting,
The tears however were real
And having been long since
Flowing from my eyes.
