I lay in the tall grass

As the trees above burn

With the insanity buzzing

Echoing the

White noise that pulses

Within the confines of my mind.

They will not relent

Conjuring thought after idea

Never remaining silent

Never ending agony

To both friend and foe.

I burn even myself

With the brilliant flames

As they lick the very fabric

Of my reality away,

Peeling layer after layer

Of my skin off my body

The pain resenating through my mind

As it only fuels the flames to erupt

Until only bone is left

Black and scarred

Leaving that haunting figure

To be seen every time I look in a mirror

For I am the only one to blame

For the cause to all the pain

That I suffer today.
