It's Childish. It's peculiar. It's unrealistic. Yet I find it's one of those so-weird-that-it-makes-sense kinda things. Enjoy!

My sister and I were home alone,
Mum said if something happened, we'd just use the phone
No adults, No parents, No rules to obey,
So we dashed to the bathroom, on that bright sunny day,
We turned on the taps, we filled it up fast,
And we opened a bottle of Bubble-O-Blast
We tipped in a handful and waited a while,
Even though mum had told me to be a good child,
Then, half an hour later, we ran back with glee,
The bubbles, they were growing, they were right up to my knee!
We looked about, wide eyed, as they grew up to my waist,
I yelled, "Go grab the phone, and don't dawdle, please make haste!"
When my sister came back, her voice sounded so scared,
"I tried to call Mum!" she said, "But no one was there!"
What kind of a hole had I dug myself in?
I thought, as the bubbles grew up to my chin,
And just when I thought they'd blow open the walls,
Those bubbles began to flood right down the hall!
As me and my sister washed by with the wave,
I thought to myself, "Why didn't I behave?"
Up and down, I bobbed, as the wave did it's best,
To swallow my bed, my Nintendo DS,
It crumbled the wardrobe, the bookshelf and the sink,
Swirling like a whirlpool of blue, green and pink
It flushed past the porch and the garden, then went down the street,
I was utterly drenched, from my hair to my feet,
But just when I thought that my young life would stop,
Every single little bubble popped!
Just when I was grateful to escape with my life,
Mum ran up from the driveway, not looking all that nice,
I tried to talk, but her eyes glared like the sun!
And said, "I'll enjoy hearing about this oneā€¦"
