On A Higher Time

Poetry By: deminiles

How life and people make me feel sometimes, and when i get certain places away I feel more welcome presented and not ill.

You were always there for me,
Sometimes I felt you weren't
you told me you really cared for me
Sometimes I felt you didn't
But I know you do

I feel like you can't handle your booze,
you cause marks with your words, causing wounds
it's not easy to say you lose, to a winner of the crew
but it's who you are, that got me without review

I can't explain, how I felt
you got mad spit and shout
maybe that explains why I rebelled
because of your big mouth that had to shout

I can't handle your yelling
as its causing me a headache
your annoying tune of words,
makes my stomach churns
When you scream

the only thing that makes it better
is the green
but you hate the thought of the worse
then stop the words you curse

I can't forgive unless you stop and look back,
I just can't stop and run double stacked
it's the opportunity of the last track
so take it or leave it, and head back

I hate playing this game
this love/hate is a war of shame
and I'm not the one that's going to take the blame
I'm living life, I'm leaving on a train,
back to California, where I'm there to tame
The beautiful animals as I comb a horses mane

I left you, and things are well
I now feel like I'm not living hell,
all though I embellish I know your
thoughts are mighty fine, but I love you
and well forever dine, alone in heavens on
a higher time
