Bleeding Inside

Poetry By: A Broken Dream

Dedicated to my friend, who thinks her life means nothing to no one even though she has a bunch of friends who care for her. Especially me, even though she doesn't seem to believe her life has a meaning to it.

It starts with a tear,

then a knife to the wrist.

You feel the pain,

but pretend it don't exist.

No one's there to listen,

since your words were never heard.

Blood drips from your hands,

as your life is begins to blur.

I'd miss you if you died,

It would ruin my life for sure.

No one could stop my cries,

since I never found Heart's cure.

A cure for those rough edges,

and cracks that always bleed.

A cure for those tears

and red eyes,

and for your mislead.

I hope you hear these words,

and listen to my pain.

Because your not the only one that hurts,

so don't put your life down the drain.
