You can’t wipe these tears away,
I’ll just cry these tears away,
Oh I’ve tried to wipe these tears away,
But oh, the sorrow stays.

I’m like a bottomless well,
Some times life feels like hell,
And the tears start to flow,
Oh no, yes, no.

One of these days the tears have to stop,
If I keep crying I’ll dry up,
My heart will be desert,
My soul will be a desert.

My main problem, that I encounter time and time again,
Is the fact that no one will stop to listen,
They give their advice, like I can use it,
It doesn’t adhere to me, it just isn’t working.

You can’t wipe these tears away,
I’ll just cry these tears away,
Oh I’ve tried to wipe these tears away,
But oh, the sorrow stays.

Maybe one day I’ll find someone,
Who will lead me to the sun,
The sun  of warmth, of love, of everything good,
The sun of happiness, of kindness, of childhood.

That sun will fill me with a feeling of joy,
And banish all the shadows from my dried our heart,
Till then the tears still flow,
And I embrace the years that are to come.
