How moments stay with me

Smoke caresses a sun-drenched horizon

and I watch

As the sky bleeds

Brilliant as a ruby

The life of a world

a lazy traveller

erring aimlessly

and as distance rolls away

a faint image can be seen

gaseous beauty of a beginning

Experiencing the birth of a memory
