Steel slashing ice
A crystallized spray hovers in the air
The roar of a goal
The hush of a save
The clash of competition
Pumps adrenaline through straining bodies
The hunt for a black medallion
Born out of hunger for victory
And determination of the underdog
The spectators are romanced
Its synchronisity, its flow
Gladiators old and young, striving to tbe the best
Worn by time and pain
Hockey, a beautiful wilderness
