Now that the waters are calmer here I put forth my own opinion piece. This work speaks of youth in general, not specifically. It may offend, so if you are somewhat sensitive don't read it. If you have an open mind and can consider opinion, and that's what this is an opinion, please read away. I look forward to all comments, if any. Enjoy. AS

Hunger

Burniong everywhere

Watch as it is reflected

In a hollow look

A want, firece

Albeit too shallow

It is Famine

so many, forgotten

The sustenance offered

But a drop

A single candle

Trying to thaw a glacier

Alone

A mass

Endless, empty

Day after day

All around

This plight, no reprieve

Seduced to a living feast

Color, ever-present

Surrogate parent, teacher, lover

Dream

Creative wonderland inundates

Untethered, the mass

Rushes and gorges

Vomiting the only thing

They have ever known

Welcome to the age

Of Electronic Bolemia
