What is in a flame?
It is the symbol of many things
Faith.Love.Hope.
Yearning, lust , sustenance
It has heat and warmth
But too close, and get burned
Shedding its glow, illumination
Yet stare at it too long
Blinded you become
I watch as it sways with a house's breeze
Molten yellow to tarnished bronze
Observing nuances of a flawless teardrop
Squint at it, and a scintillating star appears
Open your eyes wide, a forked tongue licks at the ceiling
It can be me mory or dream
Flame
