Magic Rises After Midnight

Poetry By: Aadam

Just trying to bring back the Magic of Halloween. Just trying to bring it back to what it used to be. I want people to smile and hope, and just be in suspense for halloween.

Magic Rises After Midnight

The Sun Begins to Sink

To Show The World The Power of the Moon

All You Needn't do Is Blink Or You Will Lose.

The Air Changes Odour

The Trees Wake from a Sleep

Bushes Begin to Rattle

As Flowers Begin To Sing.

The Grass Glows With A

Green Tinged Gleam

As The Wind Moves Slowly

With the Power to Wake You From Reality.

Giggles Float Through The Air

As Magical Beings Begin to Appear.

In the Form of Children Dressed in Charms

All They Ask for is Something Sweet

So They May Wonder Further Through the Other Worldly Streets.

Night has Now Fallen Over The Land

As Pumpkins Glow With Smiling Fangs.

Stars Laugh with Anticipating Joy

Because they Know of the Magic they Never want To Avoid.

They Wink at You letting You Know

That Midnight has Come and now You Will Glow

Your Heart Feels it Waiting for this

Its Time to Live In a Warm Magical Bliss.

Black Cats Prowl , Sitting on Fences

They Know of The Magic That now Approaches

They Smirk as They Lick There Paw

Wondering about Halloweens Mighty Raw.

Midnight has Passed

and The Magical Beings Begin to Make their Way Back with Trophies Made of Sweets.

Soon The Sun Will Rise Congratulating the Moon

Its Time to Make Your way Back to a Home Still Dancing in Tune.

Stepping Inside Their Homes

These Small Giggling Beings Sit Comfortably In their Hold.

They Open Up there Trophy Bags

And Begin to Enjoy What's Rightfully Theres.

The Moon Says Goodbye

But With a Promising Tone

For Halloween Will Return

Quicker than Lightning Gold.

Just Look For the Smirking Cat Licking its Paw

For if You Look Long Enough You Might Just Hear Halloweens Roar.

By the way I carved out the pumpkin sculpture you see in the Picture ;).
