Lips sewn shut and idle hands
A sickness spread across a land
Blanketed silence settling unease
An unknown god left unappeased
Forgotten gratitude fallen short
Beauty silence will contort
Simple eyes casting shadows
Revealing their inner sorrow
One last channel, one last hope
A foothold on a slippery slope
Broken down to a simple form
A new understanding at once was born
One tear can say it all
In the simple manner that it falls
Mesmerized all must listen
No way for time division
Yet simutaneously we all speak
A ray of light cast to the bleak
Understanding ever deep
Mountains challenged, ever steep
Silence conquered without sound
Uncovered beauty, infinitely profound.
