Little fish, here in the deep,
He’s safe and warm, has plenty to eat.
But it’s dark down here, and lonely too;
Nothing exciting for a fish to do.
So he looks to the surface and sees rays of light.
“What an odd combination of joy and fright.”
“Will there be food there too? There’s no way to tell.”
“The place I see could be heaven or hell.”
“What’s a fish to do, stuck in this twilight?”
“All I want is my due right to see the sunny day and starry night.”
“Oh, what’s a fish to do with this plight?”
“Oh, what’s a fish to do…”
